Privacy Policy

The short version. Sangam Skin does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. Your quiz answers, routines and photos stay on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Sangam Skin mobile app (“Sangam Skin”, “the app”, “we”) handles information. Sangam Skin is published by Sangam Herbals. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information we do not collect

Sangam Skin does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other contact details. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal information — because we do not collect it.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, the following is saved locally on your device only, and is never transmitted to us:

Camera and photos

With your permission, Sangam Skin can use your camera or photo library for two features: your skin progress photos, and the Skin Lens cosmetic read (a selfie-based skin score). Any photo you take or choose is stored only on your device, in the app’s private storage, and you can delete it at any time from within the app. Deleting the app also removes them. We have no server, and your photos are never uploaded to us.

On-device face check

Before Skin Lens produces a result, the app runs a quick on-device check to confirm a face is actually visible in the photo — a selfie with no face would give a meaningless read. This check uses Google’s ML Kit face-detection library and runs entirely on your device. It is configured for presence detection only, and returns a simple yes/no answer to the question “is a face in the frame?” It does not create a face map, face mesh, facial landmarks, face template, faceprint, or any other biometric identifier, and it does not recognize or identify you. Nothing from this check is stored or transmitted: the photo is examined in memory and then discarded. Skin Lens saves only a numeric result — a score and category ratings — on your device, and never saves the photo itself.

Optional cloud analysis (off in this version). Skin Lens is also designed to support an optional cloud reading, using Google’s Gemini service, for a more detailed cosmetic description of the skin. This option is switched off in the current version of the app: there is no setting to turn it on, and no photo is sent anywhere. If a future version enables it, the selected photo would be sent to Google for a text description under Google’s API terms, we would state this clearly in the app, and we would update this policy and our App Store privacy details before that version is released. Sangam Skin has no server of its own and would never receive or store your photo.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders (for example, to follow your evening routine) directly on your device. These reminders are not sent from, or through, any server operated by us.

Ordering products

If you choose to buy products, the app opens the Sangam Herbals website in your browser. Any information you enter there is handled by that website, not by the app.

Children

Sangam Skin is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
